Our Building Project

We are currently in the process of finishing the building work on our new facility, which was previously an old car garage. We started work back in 2004, and we started using the facility regularly after the completion of Phase 1, in October 2005. We are situated on Eglinton Road, in the heart of Beith.

Phase 1 (completed)

Our desire was to start using the building as soon as possible, and so the first phase was to completely renovate one part of the building. On the ground floor, we have a fellowship room, with a large kitchen, and toilets. Upstairs, we have an office, a small kitchen, and the (temporary) worship centre. Most of the work was done ourselves, from partitions to insulation to plaster-board to tiling (although we did get professionals in to do electrics and plumbing!).

Phase 2 (completed)

There are still a few more jobs left to do here and there, but the vast majority of the building project is completed: we have been meeting in our main hall since late 2007, and held our first baptism service at the end of January 2008. The former (temporary) hall upstairs has now been converted into an office for the Pastor, as well as two other rooms (one of which is home to the Children's Church ).
